Appointments
D’MAZ Lifestyle Salon is a private, studio hair and wellness salon. For the privacy and relaxation of a client receiving services – in Salon retail sales, product pick up, consultations & services are by appointment only ~ No walk-in’s please. To make an appointment, please call the salon tel:(216) 292-4247 or email: [email protected]. (Please include your name & phone number when emailing). If a day/time is not available that you desire, please allow Denise the opportunity & time to accommodate your requests. If you cannot be accommodated on the date or time you need, I can gladly put your name on a waiting list and contact you if something should open up.
Booking Fee
D’MAZ Lifestyle Salon requires a booking fee (you will be emailed an invoice), in order to secure bookings for a new client or for a client who has not been in for a year or more. Appointments spanning 2 hours or more or out of regular salon days/hours. Booking fees vary on the services desired and the amount of time booked and are deducted from the service price at the time of checkout. A booking fee can be transferred only once contingent on the Salon’s Canceling / Rescheduling / Modifying Policy. Booking fee refunds are also contingent on the Salon’s Canceling / Rescheduling / Modifying Policy, minus a 3% processing fee.
Canceling/Rescheduling/Modifying
Thank you for understanding that I make my living by reserving time especially for you. Due to the length of time reserved for appointments, I require 48 hour notice when canceling, rescheduling or modifying an appointment (72 hours for reserved time of 2 hours or more). This courtesy allows me to give your reserved time to another client that would like to come in. Notice less than 48/72 hours is subject to a service fee/invoiced (50% of the reserved time price and/or the booking fee). Forgotten, no-show, or last minute cancellations (24 hours or less) will be charged the reserved time full service price. Please note: This notice is on every confirmation email.
Illness / Allergies
In an effort to maintain a safe, healthy Salon environment, I ask that if you, or any member of your household or visitors are experiencing symptoms of a cold, sore throat, cough, runny nose, stomach “bug”, fever, the flu, Covid, etc., that you please not book at this time or if you already have a scheduled appointment, to please contact me. If you are experiencing active “allergies”, I ask please that you take something in enough time prior to your appointment so as not to be experiencing symptoms while receiving services. If you arrive at the Salon with active symptoms of an illness or “allergies” you may be asked to leave and reschedule. This is for your well-being as well as the health of myself and of the other clients I serve. Full charges will apply for your reserved scheduled time if you are asked to leave and reschedule. On-time Importance – Late Policy
I make every effort to schedule enough time for each appointment so as to be on time for yours. Please arrive 5 – 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Please call if you are running a bit behind. If you arrive later than the 10 minutes for your appointment, it will be at the discretion of Denise to start and complete your scheduled service so as to be on-time for the appointments following. Full charges will apply for your reserved scheduled time even if a service cannot be completed.
New Clients for color, highlighting or permanent wave services
New clients need to schedule a consultation to come into the Salon prior to receiving hair color, highlighting or permanent wave services. Consultations and these services cannot be scheduled on the same day. The consultation is necessary to determine the condition of your hair and to discuss your expectations for your desired service.
Children
D’MAZ Lifestyle Salon is a private, studio salon designed for men & women to receive personalized hair and/or wellness services in a safe, healthy, relaxing and stress free environment. Please, for your enjoyment here and the enjoyment of others, babies and children are not permitted in the studio.
I Aim To Please!
I am here to serve you and make your experience at D’MAZ Lifestyle Salon a pleasant one, and to offer you the opportunity to relax and de-stress. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your service, a call (216) 292-4247 or email [email protected] to Denise must be made within 3 days. If you need your hair redone, you must come into the salon within 7 days of the service. After 7 days regular fees will apply. There are no refunds on any services.
Payments/Fees
D’MAZ Lifestyle Salon accepts payment by cash, check, credit card* / PayPal* or gift certificate. There is a 3% convenience fee added to all credit card/PayPal transactions. Returned checks are subject to a $40 fee. *Please Note: There is no credit card device in the Salon. If you are paying by credit card, you will need and email that you can access on your phone at the time of checkout as I use PayPal invoicing for this type of payment.
Returns/Exchanges/Refunds
Returns: You have 7 calendar days to return an item from the date you purchased it or received it (if bought on-line). To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unopened and unused and in the same condition you received it & the item(s) must be in the original packaging. Exchanges/Refunds: Once your item is received, it will be inspected. If your return is approved (that it is not damaged & has not been opened or used), you may do an exchange or receive a refund to your credit card or original method of payment (minus the cost of handling/shipping if bought on-line). CBD Daily Body Creams are not returnable. There are no refunds on any services. Booking fee refunds are contingent on the Salon’s Canceling / Rescheduling / Modifying Policy, minus a 3% processing fee.
Relax ~
With a cup hot tea from a large variety of teas offered, a cup of hot coffee or spring water. Enjoy also a healthy treat, reading a popular magazine or a book from Denise’s small wellness library.
Smocks
Changing smocks are provided. D’MAZ Lifestyle Salon / Denise Zingale will not be responsible for any damage to clothing (tops/shirts/etc.) or jewelry (necklaces/earrings/etc.) that has been chosen to be left on during any service.
Disclosure/Privacy/Safety
Client information collected is used only to improve your service and send important messages as well as occasional marketing communications directly from Denise. D’MAZ Lifestyle Salon / Denise Zingale does not, under any circumstances, share this information with third-parties. Due to the possibility of a skin/scalp reaction and/or hair fragility/breakage when receiving a chemical service, please inform me of any medical conditions or changes in lifestyle/medications and/or supplement programs so I may create or update your confidential profile for safe, consistent service, recommendations and results. ~ Denise (Please Note: I respect your privacy to share only what you wish.)
Gift Certificate & Gift Basket Policy
Gift Certificates are non-transferable and non refundable. They must be used by the person they were purchased for. Gift Certificates expire one (1) year from the date they were purchased. Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash, gratuities or products. Gift Baskets are paid in full and in advance. No returns, exchanges, or refunds once gift basket(s) is made.
